A leading force in connecting the Northwest’s culinary and farm communities she has created and coordinated events such as Incredible Feast, which pairs local chefs with local farms that results in an amazing culinary feast at one of our local farmers markets and the Good Farmer Fund which supports our local farmers. Burning Beast, another culinary creation by Chef Murphy raises awareness of locally raised meat in a creative setting and has been deemed the “best event of the decade” by Seattle Magazine.
Her most recent accomplishment was the release of her first book TENDER in mid December which speaks to her many years of working with local farms and the art of cooking simply and within the seasons.
